Designed for the entrance of Avli Restaurant in Bahrain, this sculptural ceramic wall installation is seamlessly integrated into the architecture, becoming the visitor's very first artistic experience before stepping inside.
Inspired by the Greek landscape and the timeless simplicity of Greek aesthetics, its flowing organic lines create a sense of movement, balance and continuity.
The monochromatic palette was a deliberate choice.
By removing colour, the textures, reliefs and purity of the composition come to the forefront, while natural light and shadow transform the installation throughout the day.
